Single Phase Insulation Monitoring Device for Isolated Power Supply

Insulation Monitoring Device

The medical isolation power supply cabinet is a power distribution cabinet with a local IT system designed for the power supply requirements of medical Class 2 places. The IT system is equipped with an insulation monitoring device to monitor the insulation status of the system. Each output circuit adopts a circuit breaker with short-circuit protection; other system output circuits use circuit breakers with leakage protection function.

Products are categorized into: GGF-O series for operating rooms and GGF-I series for ICU/CCU, meeting strict safety requirements and compliance with IEC60364-10:2002 standards.

Company overview
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the main application of the GGF-I series isolation power cabinet?
The GGF-I series is specifically designed for medical Class 2 places such as ICU (Intensive Care Units) and CCU (Critical Care Units) to ensure power safety and reliability through insulation monitoring.
How does the insulation monitoring device work?
The device continuously monitors the insulation status of the IT system. If an insulation fault occurs, it triggers an alarm via the RS485 interface or the remote annunciator to alert medical staff.
Can the number of distribution channels be customized?
Yes, while standard models offer 4 or 8 channels, the distribution circuits can be customized to meet specific requirements for AC220V output.
What communication protocols are supported for system integration?
The systems support RS485 communication interfaces and utilize the standard Modbus-RTU protocol for seamless integration with building management systems.
What protection levels do these cabinets offer?
The cabinets offer protection levels such as IP31 for grounded installations and IP34D for embedded versions, ensuring durability in hospital environments.
Are the isolation transformers noisy?
No, the hospital-grade isolation transformers are designed with a low noise level of less than 40dB, making them suitable for quiet medical environments.
